We’re the nurturers of people and ideas – often putting the needs of other people and things before our own. I believe in changing the hierarchy of whose needs get met first. Taking care of ourselves, enables us to nurture and achieve more efficiently and effectively.
Making choices that support our health and wellbeing gives us amazing energy, feeling great, leading us to do the things we love and aspire to do. Who wants more fun in their life?
In particular, generational health. What we do now has the ability to undo the diseases we inherited, and to change the health outcomes of those who follow, whether it’s our children, or our friends who are inspired by the healthy changes we make.
It doesn’t have to be scary
Having watched reality television shows that focus on weight loss in a short time frame, I’ve learned that changing many things at once scares many people, and is actually unnecessary. In integrating small yet sustainable tweaks, success comes about quickly and gently.
An experienced coach of many years
I started my coaching career in weight loss, and went on to study health coaching. Since graduating from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York in 2017, I have worked with over 2000 people, both in private practice and at Victoria, University of Wellington.
